Ellen Böhling from inspektour presented selected results of the Destination Brand 20 study on 25.03.21 in the course of the webinar "Perception of low mountain ranges and Alpine regions in times of Covid-19". More than one hundred representatives of destination management organisations from Germany, Austria and Italy took part in the webinar.
As part of Destination Brand 20, population-representative online surveys were conducted by inspektour (in cooperation with the DITF at FH Westküste) in ten central outgoing markets from October to December 2020 to measure the brand value of numerous mountain regions and the influence of Covid-19 on the willingness to visit. In addition, general conditions for these regions such as the general interest in various holiday activities (hiking, cycling, mountain biking, mountaineering, via ferrata) or the short- and medium-term travel plans were evaluated.
