DB20 webinar for more than 100 representatives of low mountain and alpine regions

26. March 2021/in NEWS /by Franziska Baum

Ellen Böhling from inspektour presented selected results of the Destination Brand 20 study on 25.03.21 in the course of the webinar “Perception of low mountain ranges and alpine regions in times of Covid-19”. More than one hundred representatives of destination management organizations from Germany, Austria and Italy participated in the webinar.

As part of Destination Brand 20, population-representative online surveys were conducted from October to December 2020 by inspektour (international), in cooperation with the DITF at FH Westküste, in ten central outgoing markets and the brand value of numerous mountain landscapes and the influence of Covid-19 on willingness to visit were evaluated. In addition, general conditions for these regions such as the general interest in various vacation activities (hiking, cycling, mountain biking, mountaineering, via ferrata) or the short- and medium-term travel plans were evaluated.

You can download the handout for the webinar with the core results for low mountain ranges and alpine regions from Germany, Austria and Italy here.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ellen Böhling (ellen.boehling@inspektur.de).

Save the date: Another webinar focusing on coastal travel destination perceptions is scheduled for 10 a.m. on 4/13/2021.
